U15's

Welcome to the homepage for the Under 15’s (2011/12)

We currently have a squad of about 25 players of mixed ability with five attending Sussex trials to the new and developing players who all get a chance to improve during training and play in matches.

We train Thursday evenings from 7pm until 8pm approximately and play either in the Sussex `A` league on Sunday mornings or an arranged friendly match against a local side. At every opportunity we enjoy our rugby, play hard as a team but also have a laugh along the way.

Head Coach - Iain Watson (Marmite) has been at the club since 1993/94 working through the age groups up to the senior level where he became 2^nd team captain 2008/09. Joined the team as coach in January 2010 and has focused on fitness, ball handling, contact work and most importantly team cohesion. UKCC Level One Rugby Coach, IRB Rugby Ready, RFU First Aider.

Assistant Coach and Admin Manager – Tony Helliwell has been with the team from the start, he is a brilliant motivator for the team and organises the paperwork for the team whether it is registration of players or weekly match fees. Tony assists with the team coaching on a weekly basis and passes on his knowledge of the opposition teams to the captain and players for a tactical advantage. UKCC Level One Coach, IRB Rugby Ready.
