Hi Ian,
I just thought I would drop you a line to express our thanks for hosting us last Saturday.
The hospitality that we received was brilliant! Officials, helpers, coaches and parents all made us feel very welcome, from getting off the bus to leaving after the 2nd's game we where looked after and nothing was too much trouble.
Your boys represented themselves like gentlemen and both sides gave us a game to worth watching. The game was also well managed by the ref who allowed both sides to actually play some rugby.
For me Saturday both on and off the pitch was what rugby is all about and demonstrated why we have more to offer than the round ball game. All of our boys and helpers enjoyed the day and for us as a squad it was good to stay together and watch a senior game.
On a personal note I would just like to thank you as I know how much work goes in to putting this kind of thing together. If you or any of your guys are ever in the Stevenage area please look us up and hopefully we can reciprocate the warm welcome we received last Saturday.
Crowborough is clearly a club that is getting things right - keep up the great work!
Kind regards,
Dave Stevenage RFC

Steve,
I would just like to say a big thank you to you and all your other coaches for making Sunday’s B festival so much fun for the kids and the parents as well. When we turned up and saw how wet the pitches were we worried that it would all be called off, I know many other clubs would have. But in the end it made our team bond better and they loved flying around in it and got truly filthy. I had not coached most of them in a tournament before and was delighted how well they played as a team and to have the opportunity to play when so much has been cancelled this year was great for them.It was also great that the standard was very close making for more competitive games. All my parents came up to me afterwards with big smiles on their faces thanking me for the enjoyment that they and their kids had, so I am just trying to pass this on to you and your team. Most of them even stayed for a beer or two after the game just so they could chat and talk about it which is a very rare occurrence for an away festival.
Thanks again and we look forward to playing you guys again soon.
