This team has a reputation to live up to. Success last year was built on speed and a fast tempo game which often blew opponents away. The goal of promotion as Champions of Sussex Div 2 was achieved but it is very possible that this season the opposition will be better equipped to deal with a high speed game plan. We do have a plan B

This year we have a new and inspiring captain in Paul Adams who will be supported by, Arran Farramus – Manager and John Sayer –Coach remains in place. We also are so pleased to have the same sponsor , Charlotte of Kitch Designer Wear, Tunbridge Wells. She is ensuring that the team will be the best turned out and most recognisable team in Sussex.

The squad will be similar to last with several new faces already making a name for themselves at training. We actively welcome and encourage any new players to try the 2^nd team experience. As happened last year the movement up to the 1st XV will be as seamless as possible. All players in the 2^nd team are part of the 1^st team squad and places in the two teams will be strongly contested.

However although this team likes to win, it’s winning with a ‘smile on the face’. We play to enjoy both on and off the pitch!!
